When will my books be shipped?
Sometime after March 1, 2026. The book is written. I have some minor revisions and then it’s headed to the editor later this year. I will keep you posted. Books take a while. Shipping
Shipping is NOT included in the price you’re pledging. Shipping will come later when I’m ready to ship. You’ll send me your address in a post-funding survey. I’ll determine shipping costs and let you know. I will be drop-shipping paperbacks to CA, UK and AUS. Those won’t be signed, but it will save you so much money in shipping. I can also give you a quote for other shipping if you contact me.

I live in Utah, can I come pick up my book at StoryCon?
StoryCon will be the last weekend of February at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City. If you order a paperback, I should have those ready for StoryCon 2026 if you would like to save on shipping. I will leave that as an option.

I live in Utah, can I pick it up at Storymakers?
Yes! Storymakers is in Provo and the third weekend in May if you want to wait until then, you can pick it up. The signing will be OPEN to the public this year!

Amey Zeigler (A. E. Zeigler) is an multi-award-winning romance author with 20 books under her belt. You can look at her reviews on Amazon or Goodreads or wherever books are sold. But yes, the book will not disappoint.

Shipping FAQ
I will not be shipping until later in the spring in 2026. My target date for ebooks is March 1st and then paperbacks next, then case laminates and then the clothbound. Shipping was based off one book. If you ordered more than one book, you get a shipping discount because the price of shipping two or three books is only slightly higher than shipping one. I do not make money on the shipping. I often lose money because shipping and handling take time and money (and prices change periodically). There will likely be an increase in 2026 which is why I am waiting until later to do shipping. If you ordered books and paper add-ons like bookmarks and things, shipping will be the roughly same for the one or two books. If you are in AUS, CA, or UK, I’ll be drop shipping books and mailing with a international stamp, the bookmarks or stickers you ordered. Should save you money. Please let me know if you are moving during this time so we can make sure these books get to you!

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
